Property Acquisition & Relocation

In some cases, people's properties will need to be purchased in order to
build the West Corridor project.  Property owners will be notified as
soon as their property has been determined necessary for the project.

RTD follows the federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property
Acquisitions Policy Act (Uniform Act) for all real property purchases.
RTD has a Real Property Division that will be responsible for the
purchase of all property, not just for the West Corridor, but for all
FasTracks corridors.

Properties that are necessary for the
project will be purchased over the next few years, in the order that RTD
will need them for the project to continue moving forward.
