RTD has received a confidential, unsolicited proposal
regarding the North Metro corridor. The proposal was received from North
Metro Constructors, which consists of a team led by Fluor, Balfour Beatty and
Ames Construction. RTD will be reviewing this proposal consistent with
our unsolicited proposal procedure. This procedure assures that any
unsolicited proposal meets the goals and requirements of RTD and the region as
a basis for acceptance. If the proposal meets the initial screening
requirements, the unsolicited proposal procedures provides for an RFP process
to allow any competing proposals to be submitted.
