The Regional Transportation District (RTD) and the North Metro Corridor Team released the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) document on Nov. 20, 2009, marking a major milestone in the project's approval process. This document
is the culmination of three years of alternatives development and screening,
detailed alternatives evaluation, and public participation.
The North Metro EIS Team would like to thank those of you who took time to attend the public hearings held on Dec. 9 and 10 and those who took time to comment on the North Metro DEIS. In the coming months the project team will address each of your comments for inclusion in the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS). The FEIS will be available in the early Summer 2010 for public review and comment. We will keep you informed of the team's progress and future public hearing dates. The public's continued participation and input is important to us!
