DENVER, Colo. (May 11, 2016) - Denver Transit Partners (DTP), along with the Regional
Transportation District (RTD), emergency responders and other local agencies, will hold a one-day emergency preparedness drill on Sunday, May 15, 8 a.m. to noon, where project partners will simulate and coordinate how they will respond in the event of an emergency along the B Line to Westminster and G Line to Wheat Ridge once the lines open on July 25 and in the fall of 2016, respectively.
RTD's Southeast Rail Extension project breaks ground
DENVER, May 10, 2016-Today, federal, state and local officials joined with the Regional Transportation District (RTD) and their honored guests to officially break ground on RTD's Southeast Rail Extension project, which adds 2.3-miles to the existing 19-mile Southeast Rail Line which parallels I-25. The light rail line will be extended from Lincoln Avenue to RidgeGate Parkway in Douglas County.
